A city-wide sweep of Beacon.

Green Beacon Co and the Parks & Recreation Department are hosting our annual Earth Day City-Wide Clean Up event on Saturday, April 24th starting at 9 a.m. Sign up here for one of the many sites around the city. Great for teams and community groups. With a crew at each location, we can significantly reduce the amount of litter that makes its way to the Hudson River. What better way to celebrate Earth Day and your hometown?

Unfortunately we will not be hosting a BBQ social this year but we do plan for one in the future. Grab some work gloves and lace up your boots. Long pants and sleeves recommended.

Covid-19 protocols will be practiced so please wear a mask too!

Can’t make it Saturday? No problem! Take a look down your street on garbage day for any litter to scoop up.
